D's Family Kitchen, Catering & Services started with owner, Chef Dolores Allen in 2006 and established in February 2015. Chef's vision started in Chicago Illinois where she achieved a Culinary Degree as a Certified Chef at The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. She previously earned her Business Management degree at Robert Morris College and learned how to manage a successful business. She moved to Houston, Texas in 2009 to fulfill her dream of managing her own catering business and building a culinary foundation.
Chef D Allen is passionate about cooking and bringing family together. Her goal is to introduce a diverse world of food to challenge palates. Chef starting D's Family Kitchen with a vision of providing customers a successful experience full of memories! The focus will only be the food with non-preservatives that everyone will love. We've catered private and dinner parties, weddings, holiday events and more.
In 2015, a great team of services joined the business to bring complete services to Chef D Allen's catering services. Services include servers, bartenders, photography, Chef D Allen as the personal chef, and all things food!
She began her journey in 2016 when she decided to bring Build a Pizza services to every boy & girl, young and old to enjoy! Her daughter, Nahshona created the name, "Build a Pizza"!
Safety & Sanitation is highly important to Chef D Allen and is reflected in her business. Chef prides herself in keeping everyone safe and is ServSafe Certified in the State of Texas.
